WE HEREBY RESOLVE
We will be cheerful. We will no let things irritate to make us miserable, and others near us sad and depressed.

We will be thoughtful. We will be ever mindful of our tongue which may at unguarded moments hurt, someone with a word carelessly spoken.

We will be ourselves. We will not be imitators, because we admire someone's dress and personality, neither would be suitable for us.

We will look for the good in others. No one is perfect, nor is anyone alterable bad. There is at least one saving grace; we will learn to find it.

We will cultivate laughter. We learn to laugh at ourselves. Life can be lived better, if it is liberally sprinkled with genuine humour.

We will look on the bright side. Dark and silver lining troubled days are sure to come. But there is a silver lining behind every storm cloud.

We will work hard to accomplish our aim in life.

God has put us here on earth to fulfill a certain pattern.

We will play well. All work and no play build a dark and gloomy character. There must be windows of enjoyment to brighten the whole life.

We will pray sincerely. Our prayers will be made from our heart-not just memorized rituals.

We will be willing workers in God's field. We will do all we can to leave the world a little kinder, a little better than we found it.
